Tata Nexon Interior: Most of the modifications are focused on the inside. It is now feature-loaded and more premium than the last automobile. A 10.25-inch digital instrument panel and a big freestanding 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment device with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity dominate the dashboard. Underneath the infotainment for the AC operation and other features is a touch panel instead of manual buttons. Along with purple upholstery, it has a twin-spoke steering with an illuminated Tata logo, updated gear lever, ventilated seats and height-adjustable front seats. With the facelifted variant, which also got full 5-star with higher points, Nexon Safety Features Tata Nexon was the first made-in- India vehicle to guarantee complete 5-star crash test certification in Global NCAP. Six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESP), hill hold assist (HHA), reverse parking sensors, electronic traction control, and a dayight IRVM are among its complete package of basic safety features. Two engines—a 1.2L turbocharged petrol and a 1.5L turbocharged diesel—are available for the Tata Nexon SUV. The petrol engine can generates 170 Nm of torque and 118.2 horsepower of power. The turbo diesel powerplant generates 260 Nm of torque and 113.3 horsepower on the other hand. Manual and automatic options include a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, an AMT and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. Three driving modes—Sport, City, and Eco—are included with the new Nexon. The Eco option gives maximum mileage; the Sport mode provides dynamic performance. While the AMT variant gets 17.18 kmpl, the new Tata Nexon petrol manual version is touted to have an ARAI certified fuel economy of 17.44 kmpl. With dual-clutch gearbox, the petrol variant returns 17.01 kmpl. Claimed to have ARAI certified fuel economy of 23.23kmpl with manual gearbox and 24.08kmpl with AMT gearbox is the Nexon diesel. Directly competing in the category with the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Maruti Brezza and others is the new Tata Nexon sub-4 meter SUV.
